In a season where many young adults are navigating uncertainty, pressure, transition, and major life decisions, this retreat creates sacred space to pause, reset, and encounter God in a deeper way. From May 15–17, 2026, young adults from across Eastern Canada will gather at the RAMADA Cornwall Hotel & Conference Centre in Cornwall, Ontario for a powerful weekend of worship, teaching, prayer, and authentic community. This is more than a retreat, it’s an invitation to renewal. Through Spirit-led worship, meaningful teaching, and intentional moments of reflection, this weekend is designed to help you gain clarity, healing, and renewed purpose for the season ahead.

    Dans une saison où plusieurs jeunes adultes font face à l’incertitude, à la pression, aux transitions et à des décisions importantes, cette retraite offre un espace sacré pour s’arrêter, se recentrer et rencontrer Dieu d’une manière profonde et authentique. Du 15 au 17 mai 2026, des jeunes adultes de tout l’Est du Canada se rassembleront au Centre de conférence RAMADA Hotel à Cornwall, en Ontario, pour une fin de semaine puissante de louange, d’enseignement, de prière et de communion fraternelle. Ce n’est pas seulement une retraite, c’est une invitation au renouveau. À travers une louange dirigée par l’Esprit, des enseignements pertinents et des moments intentionnels de réflexion, cette fin de semaine est conçue pour vous aider à recevoir la clarté, la guérison et un renouvellement de votre appel et de votre identité en Christ.

1. What is the purpose of the Young Adult Retreat?

The Young Adult Retreat is a weekend designed for spiritual renewal, fellowship, worship, and practical equipping. We believe God is calling this generation into a fresh season of purpose, healing, and direction—because He is doing Something New (Isaiah 43:19).


2. Who can attend this retreat?

This retreat is open to Young Adults ages 18+ only.

4. What are the retreat dates?

Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17, 2026


5. When does registration/check-in begin?

Registration begins Friday, May 15th at 4:30 PM.

We encourage all attendees to arrive on time to ensure a smooth check-in process.


6. What time does the retreat officially end?

The retreat will conclude on Sunday, May 17th following the closing service and final announcements.


7. What should I bring?

Please bring the following items:

  • Bible, notebook, and pen
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Church/service attire (for evening services)
  • Casual attire for free time/activities
  • Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.)
  • Medication (if needed)
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Spending money (optional)

8. Are meals included in the retreat cost?

Yes. Meals provided will be communicated in the final retreat schedule. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options will be available according to the retreat program. There will be no dinner provided on Friday evening, and no luch provided on Sunday afternoon. 


9. What is the dress code?

Dress is modest and appropriate.

  • Services: church casual / semi-formal
  • Workshops: casual
  • Activities/free time: comfortable clothing
  • Sunday service: T-Shirts will be provided.

10. Are roommates assigned?

Yes. Room assignments are based on the rooming selection made during registration. If roommates were requested, they must be fully registered to be placed together.

If a roommate did not register, assignments may be adjusted.


11. Can I change my room selection or roommates?

Room changes are very limited due to capacity. Requests must be submitted to a member of the YM Youth Team as soon as possible and will be reviewed based on availability.


12. Is there a payment deadline?

Yes. All remaining balances must be paid by: Sunday, May 3rd, 2026


13. How do I send my payment?

14. What happens if I don’t pay my balance by the deadline?

Your registration may be placed on hold, and your room reservation may be released depending on the retreat’s final financial commitments. Please contact the YM Youth Team immediately if you are experiencing difficulty.


15. Can I attend without staying overnight?

Due to the retreat structure and hotel capacity planning, overnight participation is strongly encouraged. If special circumstances exist, please contact the leadership team directly.


16. Will there be workshops?

Yes! The retreat includes powerful workshops covering topics such as:

  • Relationships & marriage preparation
  • Faith and mental health
  • Prayer and spiritual growth
  • Financial stewardship and planning
  • Singleness and identity

Workshops are designed to be relevant, practical, and Spirit-led.


17. Will there be free time or activities?

Yes. There will be scheduled free time for rest, fellowship, and optional activities.


18. Can I volunteer during the retreat?

Yes! We are still welcoming volunteers. Volunteers help with:

  • Registration
  • Ushers
  • Hospitality
  • Media/Photography
  • Workshop support
  • Prayer team
  • Setup/Cleanup

19. What is the expected behavior/code of conduct?

We ask all attendees to maintain a Christ-centered atmosphere by:

  • Respecting leadership and hotel staff
  • Maintaining modest behavior and attire
  • Avoiding disruptive conduct
  • Respecting curfew and rooming guidelines
  • Honoring the spiritual purpose of the retreat

20. Is this retreat open to non-COGOP attendees?

Yes, while this retreat is primarily for Eastern Canada young adults others church organizations are invited to join us. 


21. Who do I contact if I have questions or concerns?

Please contact a member of the YM Eastern Canada Youth Team or your local Youth/Young Adult Director. Additional contact information will be provided in the final retreat email.


22. What if I have allergies or medical concerns?

Please ensure you notify leadership ahead of time. If you have severe allergies or medical needs, we recommend bringing necessary medication and supplies.


23. Will photos and videos be taken during the retreat?

Yes. Photos and videos will be taken for ministry promotion and recap purposes. By attending, you may appear in media coverage.


24. What is the theme scripture for this retreat?

25. What should I do now that I’m registered?

Confirm your balance is paid by May 3rd
