Pastor Richard J. Brown

Richard J. Brown is the founder and senior pastor of Kingsway Community Life Centre. Born in Birmingham, England, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the age of nine. From his youth, he recognized God’s call on him to a life of kingdom ministry.

In 1990 he immigrated to Canada with his wife, Paula, and began serving in ministry. Pastor Richard has a heart for society’s marginalized and less fortunate; his life and ministry vision is ‘Loving You Back to Life and Destiny’. Recognized as a Life Strategist, Pastor Brown has mentored many throughout his years of ministry and community service. He is known for delivering dynamic ministry in word and worship throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Australia.

His educational goals led him to Tyndale University College and Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education. Pastor Brown has earned a Master's Degree in Theology from the Mt. Olive Bible Institute and Seminary and is presently pursuing a PhD in Counseling. Utilizing the education he received, Pastor Brown worked for the City of Toronto for many years as a Counsellor specializing in Chronic Substance Abuse and Addiction.

Affectionately known as “The Chief Levite,” Pastor Brown has written and produced many worship songs that continue to bless the Body of Christ around the world. His projects include his live debut recording “Heart of a Worshipper,” and most recently “Worship Without Apology”.

Pastor Richard J. Brown and his wife, Paula, are proud parents of four children: Monique, Jazmin, Daijohn and Xavier and Grandparents to Gabriel and Graceson.
