 GOALS

• To train committed believers in the biblical principles of Discipleship and Evangelism.
• To establish an outreach program in each community, which will help to communicate the love of Christ to all, and encourage the unchurched to attend our worship services and other activities.
• To conduct at least two seminars/workshops which will provide mission education and teach evangelism techniques to help members become confident in witnessing to others.
• To have Community Invasion/Prayer walk Day. Organizing groups that will walk through our communities and stop at central points to pray for our cities, our schools, our governments, our churches, as well as witness and hand out Christian literature to those we meet on the way.

• To conduct a citywide crusade. All local churches will be involved in this venture, which will also help to increase church membership.

MISSION STATEMENT

The National Evangelism Department of the Church of God of Prophecy in Eastern Canada strive to be obedient to God’s biblical mandate in fulfilling the great commission in St. Matthew 28: 18-19.

18 And Jesus came and said to them [the disciples], "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature regardless of colors, creed or tongue and making disciples of all nations. We strive to develop committed believers for effective Christian living, to proclaim the gospel in our communities and to the world at large.

As ambassadors for Christ we bear in mind that Evangelism is “one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.”
Our priority is always to point men to Christ and never to self.
