Church of God of Prophecy

Woodroe Thompson has been involved in ministry for over 30 years.  His ministry experiences range from involvement in youth ministry to several years of pastoral ministry, most recently ending a 18 year tenure as senior pastor of North Park Worship Centre (ministry of Church of God of Prophecy) in Brampton.

A visionary in his own right, Bishop Thompson served faithfully to lead a congregation of sixty (60) at North Park Worship Centre to become a community impacting church of over 500 members presently holding two Sunday morning services each week.

As an avid reader and believer in continuing education, Bishop Thompson has always sought opportunities to continue in the goal of life long learning.  He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity (MDiv) at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto.

In December 2008, Bishop Thompson was officially ordained and installed as the new National Overseer for the Church of God of Prophecy – Eastern Canada. 
His vision is to see local churches mobile for cutting edge 21^st century ministry through effective ministerial training, development and leadership.
